Produced by students in the All About Audio class at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Haunted Heartland 2024 is a two-hour live, in-studio and remote broadcast that aired on October 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. Each student researched, interviewed, and designed their own original story, contributing to a collaborative show that blended journalism, sound design, and live performance.

 

Broadcast live on location, the program was recognized as one of the best in a regional television and radio news competition, showcasing the power of immersive storytelling and student-driven audio production.
